Getting Political For A Second
I don’t normally post political stuff on social networks but this infuriates me to no end. According to The Hill, a Romney aid said “[Romney’s] position on the bailout was exactly what president Obama followed. I know it infuriates them to hear that.” First of all, why would the President follow what a former governor had to say about the bailout? Also, there were literally millions of other people who thought the same thing. How could Romney be so egotistical to think that was his original idea. Second of all, and what sends me and I’m sure plenty of others over the edge is this. That link brings you to an Op-Ed by the one and only Mitt Romney. That’s the same guy who claims the president just copied him when deciding whether or not the bailout was the best thing to do. In said Op-Ed, Mr. Romney says “Detroit needs a turnaround, not a check.” Cue the steam coming from the ears.
